Visit Renovotec’s state-of-the-art facility this October
Renovotec’s Innovation Centre in Merseyside is opening its doors this autumn, showcasing the latest developments transforming the warehousing and logistics sector.
Our facility offers businesses the opportunity to see and trial the latest technology up close through a comprehensive range of hardware and software solutions.
From Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) devices to voice-controlled hardware, industrial scanning equipment to machine-vision, the Innovation Centre promises a wealth of transformative technology and impressive interactive displays.
To enhance the visitor experience, many of the technologies on show have been ‘gamified’. This includes the popular BasketBox challenge, which demonstrates scanning capabilities as guests try to score baskets using labelled boxes.
We’re also in the process of developing our Proof of Concept facility within the Innovation Centre, designed to replicate bespoke warehousing environments. This will allow our clients to test the products in a like-for-like setting before committing to full-scale implementation.
The Innovation Centre was officially opened in 2023, quickly gaining a reputation for its ability to effectively demonstrate the latest technology from Renovotec and our partners including Honeywell, Zebra, Ruckus and Datalogic.
Our Technical Director, Jamie Mottershead, said, “In the summer we held Renovotec’s Innovation Forum & Golf Day. It was an opportunity for us to showcase our industry-leading Innovation Centre, and the response was overwhelming.
“Our guests relished the opportunity to see and experience first-hand the tech that will lead the sector over the coming years, and with such a fantastic response and demand for more visits, this autumn we’re opening our doors to a wider audience.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming a range of professionals from the sector keen to get to grips with the latest technology, and of course have plenty of fun along the way.”
