Reduce, Reuse, Rethink: From Discard Mentality to Tech Sustainability
SOTI 2022 Report
Enterprise e-waste is fast becoming a large, but underexplored problem. Devices are thrown away prematurely as companies upgrade hardware without trying to diagnose and fix the devices they have.
SOTI has long championed the potential of device life elongation through its SOTI ONE Platform. And now they have done so via specific research, surveying IT decision-makers’ choices around IT device lifespans, their main influences, and whether a new model based on enterprise e-waste prevention is attractive to them. In the report, 2,500 IT decision-makers were surveyed to understand how they handle enterprise e-waste.
Let’s take a look at what the research revealed about the realities of tech sustainability, and whether organisations need to rethink their approach and solutions.
