TSC Auto ID launches pocket-sized, rugged printer to overcome common industry challenges
TSC Auto ID’s new 3-inch mobile printer, the RE310, promises rapid and multiple charging options, effortless connectivity and hassle-free integration, to enable uninterrupted, on-the-go label printing across diverse applications.
The new mobile device is very versatile and suited to many tasks, including shelf labelling in retail, receipts and labels in warehouse and logistics operations, fast food orders and public sector undertakings like parking tickets. An adjustable and toolless media holder enables label widths of 20mm to 80mm to be used, while a full line of accessories offers further functionality to accomplish diverse labelling tasks.
“The RE310, although small, packs a large battery capacity (3080 mAh), extending working hours to 26, meaning users can easily complete an entire shift without fear of running out of charge,” says Bob Vines, UK, Ireland & Nordics country manager for TSC Auto ID. “And, whether you’re on the road using a vehicle USB port, or using a power bank or plugged into a power adaptor, the device, with its USB Type-C compatibility will remain reliably powered.”
Uninterrupted connectivity and fast roaming are also where the RE310 scores very highly. Its advanced internal Bluetooth 5.3 ensures swift,and reliable communication via Standard or Bluetooth Low Energy, indeed it takes just 11 seconds for 500KB of data transmission, ensuring optimal efficiency. Device pairing is also simpler with NFC tap-to-pair setup.
The rugged RE310 printer has been produced with demanding industrial usage in mind as its robust, rubber over-molded exterior provides superior durability in all sorts of environments. It’s certified to IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, and can withstand drops from heights of up to 1.5 metres.
