3rd Annual Innovation Forum and Golf Day
Last week saw the highlight of the Renovotec calendar; our 3rd Annual Innovation Forum and Golf Day.
Hosted at Renovotec’s first of its kind Innovation Centre in Newton-Le-Willows, the morning event brought together the Renovotec team, partners and clients to showcase the latest RFID and logistics tech, hear about the latest trends from Industry experts and experience interactive technology demonstrations.
Leading the session for Renovotec were CEO Richard Gilliard and Jamie Mottershead (Technical Director). They introduced the insightful keynote presentation Vision and Data by Steph Hobley Lloyd, Global Product Manager of Honeywell. Other fascinating talks included The RFID Revolution by Mark Thomson of Zebra Technologies and Steve Johnson, Regional Sales Director of RUCKUS spoke about Adaptive Resilience in Networking.
However the morning session was not just about sharing information, it was also a chance for Renovotec to showcase its Innovation Centre. The RIC is not a simple demonstration space; it’s a chance to road test our partners’ most innovative technologies.
Delegates were encouraged to explore our latest dynamic and interactive logistics solutions through hands-on demonstrations. Causing a stir on the day were Keenon the robot who circulated the crowd serving drinks and the ProGlove wearable scanner that allows users to scan anything with just a flick of the wrist.
After a delicious networking lunch at Haydock Park Golf Club, attendees hit the links for the fiercely contested Golf Challenge. For non golfers there were games from Soti and Brodit, before the day was rounded off with a celebratory dinner and prize giving.
Thanks to all our sponsors, speakers, demonstrators and delegates: Honeywell, Zebra, Ruckus, SOTI, Brodit, Blue Star, Brother, ELO, SATO, VoCoVo, Unitech, Ivanti, ProGlove, Custom and Datalogic.
If you want to experience their best-of-breed technology first hand and find out how Renovotec’s integrated solutions can offer your organisation cost savings, efficiency gains and improved profitability, book a visit to our Innovation Centre. It is so much more than a showroom; it is also the perfect space for harnessing creativity, brainstorming, visualising and strategy planning. We can’t wait to share it with you.
