Datalogic PowerScan 9600 RFID Series, Built to do more
Datalogic is excited to introduce the PowerScan 9600 RFID Series, an industry-first hybrid device that integrates RFID and barcode reading in a single, rugged handheld unit. This innovative scanner is designed to streamline operations across Retail, Transportation & Logistics (T&L), Manufacturing, and Healthcare.
The PowerScan 9600 RFID Series improves efficiency by enabling workers to capture both RFID tags and barcode data with a single trigger pull, eliminating the need to switch between devices. This hybrid capability is unique in an industrial-grade, cordless device.
The series includes two cordless models with Bluetooth connectivity. One model efficiently captures RFID tags and/or barcodes, while the other adds color image capture with a dual camera system, a 16-key keypad, and a display—ideal for T&L applications requiring proof of condition.
Key benefits include enhanced productivity, reduced errors, and future-proof technology. In retail, it excels in loss prevention and simplifies the returns process; in T&L, it ensures accurate tracking; in manufacturing, it enhances durability and readability; and in healthcare, it streamlines surgical tool traceability and managing medical inventory.
The PowerScan 9600 RFID Series also offers wireless charging, ultra-ruggedness (IP65/IP67), modular connectivity, and smart battery management.
This product is a future-proof solution that facilitates the transition to RFID technology, combining the strengths of barcode scanning with the advanced capabilities of RFID.
